With a strong influence from J.Crew, I can't get enough of the monochromatic look. Once I pick out one portion of my outfit for the day, my eyes are always automatically drawn to other pieces of the same color family, and this look was no exception. I even went as far as to clip two small shoe clips onto my blazer. I loved the small and powerful detail it added to the overall look.
This is the first outfit post I've done on a weekday, right after work. Before this, I had taken all outfit posts on the weekend. This started to frustrate me since I know that I do a much better job of looking my best during the week. Weekends are a much slower pace when it comes to dressing up. My goal is to photograph more during the week and not have to stress about it on the weekends. After all, I want my outfit posts to simply be a reflection of what I pick out to wear a certain day - and not to be something that I specifically dress up for. This is an outfit you might typically see me in mid-week.
